As much as I like Dutch food, what I always miss the most is the Indonesian cuisine in The Netherlands, particularly a good rijsttafel!

Our snacks are Godly though! Oliebollen and kruidnoten are finally back! (Only around the winter often)

Some more unknown snacks you might like to try from up north;
-Pofferrt (not to be confused with poffertjes)
-Fries suikerbrood
-Kruidkoek
-oranjekoek (different from tompouce)
-Eierbal
-Kniepertie (different from stroopwafels)
-Arnhemse meisjes
And at new years evening, you should definitely try vechter's rolletjes with slagroom, most Dutchies will look surprised ;)
Pindakaas with hagelslag is also recommended!

You should watch out with oud en nieuw ( it’s just celebrating the new year) because dutchies use a lot of illegal fireworks, like cobra’s, thunderkings, shells, dum bums and all that sort of stuff
