Nakipag exchange notes ako kay sir Hardware Voyage sa portrait samples nya. Yung shots nya mostly in broad daylight and nakita ko very minimal smudging lang. Yung kuha ko naman mostly indoors. So pwedeng dahil di sagad sa liwanag kaya naging ganito at meron di nagsabi na pumanget daw quality ng h200 pro nila dahil sa isang update. Anyway, very fixable yung issues na napoint out ko. Kayang kaya ng software update. So sana nga maayos. 🫶🏼

Watching this with my Honor 200 Pro. Akala ko Kung anong horror Yung ibubunyag pero di naman siya issue for me hehe. Been using this for a little over 30 days na and I don't regret buying this. All phones have pros and cons naman. It's a matter of personal preference Lang talaga.

I think it's a matter of preference. I have iphone 14 pro and Honor 200 pro. I'm biased in favor of my IPhone 14 pro (maybe because it's more expensive that's why I value it more). However, I did blind test with my family members and friends, to our surprise most of them chose the portrait shots from Honor 200 pro. In the contrary, IPhone 14 pro is a clear winner in video department. I'm not sure, maybe they are just a regular person, not a professional photographers and they did not zoom in a big screen. From then on, I used my IPhone 14 pro for video taking and Honor 200 pro when taking photos. In my opinion, IPhone 14 pro has more realistic shots, but Honor 200 pro has "social media ready" overly processed but with wow factor shots. 😊

Di rin na banggit ng iba yung selfie. Nung out of the box pa napaka sharp ng selfie cam niya, nung nag update na that comes with the AI eraser sobrang downgrade ng selfies. Pansin talaga lalo na sa eyes, nag out of focus din yung shot. Pero, para sa 30k okay na ako neto, cheaper than a flagship.

Sir Janus, curious lang ako if ano gamit mong focal for Portrait Shots? To briefly explain - based on tests ko din ay smudgy madalas ang output ng 2X compared to 1X and 2.5X. Why?

Because 2x is a digital zoom of 1x. Literally degraded and most of time relies on camera post processing.


1x and 2.5x are based focal lengths. When I take portraits using the H200 Pro ay 2.5x gamit ko dahil it is way sharper and uses telephoto lens.

During lowlight, I typically turn off Beautify Mode and set my Bokeh to F4.

Yes, heavy on face processing si 200 series lalo sa darker scenarios and thats one of my takeaways as well. This can basically serves as a feedback for improvement sa software algo.

Got my honor 200 pro last two days ago. Hindi nman ako camera guy, I think this phone is bang for the buck. Spec wise. Good screen, battery, sd8s gen3 is solid, wireless charging/reverse, casual gaming ML Lang, solve na ko.. 👍

Sir sana po pkisama sa mga susunod na review yun quality ng sound kpag nka headphone at earbuds. May mga brand po kasi na khit na maganda ang specs super ganda ang display nka dolbhy athmos, sound by JBL at DTS. Pero hnd maganda ang sound quality sa headphones.
May mga brand nmn na khit entry level lng eh npaka ganda na ng tunog khit na wlang dolbhy athmos.
