I agree with Pep and Walker's response but it seems everyone is taking this out of proportion. It's the reason he didn't stsrt the UCL final too as the role in question is the one that Stones has been playing; against Madrid, Pep changed it from WB into CDM to CB to CDM to conteract fast transitions and players such as Vini Jnr which is why Walker played against Madrid.

He does not have the skillset to play the role and he himself said "Why he bought you" meaning there's a reason he is in the team.
