Modernized Thyssen Dover HIGHdraulic Elevators @ The Townsend Hotel, Birmingham, MI

These are the elevators in the north wing of the Townsend Hotel in downtown Birmingham. These were originally Thyssen Dover lifts, but they got a generic slap-on modernization with MAD around twenty years into their existence. Their chimes are still original, though it's weird to hear a Dover buzz come out of a MAD panel. All floors except the lobby require a keycard to access, though car 3 will go between G and 1 (a half-floor) without a key.
