The fact that during the final boss fight Jack mentioned that he gets an extra heart when he dies, only to then immediately have the gameplay cut away and then cut back to him having *five* is one of the best uses of a cutaway I’ve ever seen. Massive props to the editors

The CGI explosion at the end of the game wasn't his editors, that was a part of the game. That part got me crying

The second i saw the character creator, i knew there was no way they WEREN'T going to immediately throw the character away and just let you play as a deer.

The fact that he made his character look just like him makes the final boss so much funnier

The fact he took the time to make an incredibly accurate version of himself makes everything in this 300% better

30:57 i think what this means is about how history will repeat itself. this whole cutscene shows the deer becoming his future self basically (as shown by the “visor”). and what is implied here is that there will be another deer that comes along and has to fight the deer that we played as, causing another repeat of history.
im probs digging into this too much but i just thought that was just a decently cool implication.
