I have learned more from you then all my 77 years of cooking. I also highly recommend Butcher box meats and service. You for example. From Texas

I’ve always cooked frozen ground beef this way. I also do a similar recipe but add chopped green pepper after browning the meat before adding the tomato sauce. I serve over rice and sprinkle some grated Romano cheese. Been cooking this recipe for over forty years.

I should have looked this up last night! I ended up making a frozen steak in the air fryer, which also turned out amazing. A steak from butcher box from a year ago… no difference in quality. Thanks for the tip. I will definitely be using this hack ASAP.

I do that, but don't scrape it until you are ready to flip it again. The heat continues to penetrate and you can end up scraping more, and the scrapings aren't laying on the pan so long.

I’ve cooked 2 packs of BB ground beef by cooking it on medium heat with a lid. I’ve been doing this with frozen ground beef all my years of cooking. It kinda steams it and you just keep chopping it up with a spatula. By the way, ButcherBox ground beef is delicious.

I've done this for years I just thought it was the method for the forgetful home chef not something you'd do on purpose.

Unless that’s 93/7 beef someone’s gonna have the runs in the morning. I do this all the time with 80/20 and their is soo much fat that it has to be drained at least once DURING the process and when the beef is all browned. I will use light olive oil to replace some of the fat that I’ve drained. Trust me.

How would you recommend thawing, if you want to make hamburgers, meatloaf, etc.
