At this point I'm excited for the next generation of Nvidia cards to come out so I can buy the last generation used.

What's the point of getting excited about all these new GPU's, when no matter how much better they are than the previous ones, they only run well for a year. Because the new games getting released are unoptimized messes that just barely run well on the best setups. Next year, there's a new GPU and a new game that somehow pushes the GPU to it's limit already. It's a freaking scam, the game companies and GPU manufacturers are in cahoots to make you want to upgrade every year.

LPG = lower power graphics

GB102 probably stands for the fact they're using basically 2 chips glued as one on it. GB202 and other consumer stuff from Nvidia are likely going to stay monolithic, single chip designs still.

The thing about Nvidia is like with most video game companies today, their IT, research, development etc, those divisions are excellent and make genuinely incredible product. (Geforce are basically the Rockstar of GPU computing let's be honest.) but the thing is, corporations aren't just people creating a product but people selling that product too. So you have just like publishers and marketing teams in video games, those trash business, marketing and traders division basically fucking up prices and competition for that shiny new 0.1% rise in stock price.

As for the PS5 Pro CPU, stop saying that "many" games are becoming CPU hungry bringing the same ass optimized ones(2), if the game can run 60fps 1080p (all of them) then with a better GPU it will linearly scale the resolution while maintaining fps.
