Pork Intestines Taste Any Good?! 🙊

I recently tried Nagaland-style Pork Innards and Axone (fermented soybean) during my search for unique foods in India.

I visited the Naga Bamboo Restaurant, where they serve a combination of liver, small and large intestines, pressure cooked with minimal spices. It is typically enjoyed as a bar or finger food. However, personally, I found it too gamey for my taste.

I also had the opportunity to taste Pork Axone or Akuni, which is pork meat prepared with fermented soybean. It had a good flavor, albeit slightly salty.
