I don't know what to say, I may be biased, but his techniques can come very handy rather than most Class 1-A (except the Big Three ofc)

First of all, Slow Moving Heroes like Kirishima, Kaminari, Ojiro, Most of the Class 1-A girls (Except Ochaco or Tsu) can easily be countered by Mineta and his Pop Off.

Second, it all comes with Trickery, Mineta is very smart that he just escaped Midnight, and is very knowledgeable with things in terms of combat and support. But he fails if some heroes does have an excellent speed or even flight itself.

Last, he can somehow compete with most of the class, if you know DekuSquad with Bakugo is the only thing he can't fully compete with, due to their insane movement capabilities.

So for me, I think some are mostly biased, because people still think he is trash rather than noticing his changes as a hero. Seeing itself is not necessarily believing, that people forgot Mineta's growth rather than those who got the most of the focus just like most of the class. I am looking at you, big three 😒

He legitimately can beat anyone in class 1a accept todoroki, hagakur and bakugo since they are the only 3 who can counter him late game midoriya only won that fight against the class because mineta wasn't in 1a anymore
