The Spanish Flu came and went from several countries multiple times in 1900's, lets hope this just fizzles out of existence but it's really unlikely. Stay strong Spain, love from Scotland!

Epideomologically, what goes down must come up.
A lock-down can, at best, turn a curve into a wave.

The decline in infection rates is, perhaps, because of reduced tests, transmissions or both.
The death rates represent the 20% of the infected group who develop serious respiratory distress.
The decline of death rates likely indicates that the number of those severely affected is going down.

Once, the lock-down ends, those who were not infected earlier are likely to be.
The curve will move up again and form a wave.
Needless to repeat, the 20% of the new infected group will develop severe distress and the death rates
will rise again.
The only way to end the wave is to contain transmission until an effective prophylactic,
vaccine or cure is found.

Weird how it seems to peak everywhere at about 1000 a day

What were their underlying health conditions and ages? How does it compare to their usual death rate? None real information was given here just suggestions and empty assertions designed to terrorise people and not to inform them.

I'm very glad that numbers are coming down.

Good. Also because unlike Brits they know how to adhere to a lockdown ...

to everyone involved in a early stage of covid-19:

Check all the old people residences, nursing homes, and anything around that, a lot of good old people died there abandoned.
