Kechria beach

The nice, secluded enough and tiny Kechria beach is a beach with sand and pebbles, situated at a distance of 13 kilometers northwestern to the town of Skiathos, at the middle of the northern coast of the island within a cove open to the Northwest.
Accommodation facilities are available in some distance from the beach (the beach is found some 7 kilometers far from Katsaros).

The beach is basically organized; only a few umbrellas and sea beds are available for swimmers. But the sea is very clean and the pretty secluded environment offers exotic beauty. You will come here alone or in small company, only if you have got bored of the noise of the popular and cosmopolitan resorts of the southern coast and if you wish to enjoy a wild and somehow intact natural environment. Be careful when there are northern or western winds and the sea gets wavy.
In case of emergence you should return to the town of Skiathos, some 13 kilometers at the Southeast.
Access to the beach is possible by the excursion boats departing daily from the town of Skiathos. You may also come by car or motorbike, but in this case you have to drive for some 6,5 kilometers on a good dirt road and you have to leave your car a bit before arriving to the beach.
