Probably one of the best phase two clones lego has ever done, realistic armor and quite a bit of helmet detailing for lego imo. One of my favorite lego sets tbh but I’m a sucker for anything with clones, esp phase2

I love this set so much. Such a good RRP and really nice minifigures. Got 1 but wish I got about 3 of them.

I did thankfully end up getting a few of the Clone gunners separately before they shot up in value.

Got it in 2020 for $60 and the 2016 Obi wan Fighter for $60. Very happy with it. I don't like how massive the 2008 fighter tank is. This one is detailed and accurately sized which I prefer.

I love this set. My favorite vehicle in the OG battlefront 2 and bought it after a few years of staying away from legos and it pretty much brought me back in.

I honestly prefer this one. When looking at the design in Battlefront 2 (which came out at the same time). This set looks closer to it than the old one.

Minifig scale or not, I just cannot agree with your opinion that the older one is better. This one just looks more accurate. The minifig scale is a great bonus.

This is one of the sets that I wasn’t particularly excited for at the time but am very glad my grandmother bought me it back in 2017 looking back now

Really love this Set.
I prefer it over the older version and I think the older one looks more like a UCS Set.
It has some nice details and I think it looks cool if you display it in a Army Setting.

I too wasn’t the biggest fan of the build of this set when it came out, but the nostalgia of having a fighter tank at all plus the clone gunner and Ayla secura combined with the low price point upon release still made this set a no brainer for me in 2017

I feel like maybe he doesn't understand/care that bigger/more expensive isn't always better. I think smaller scale sets like this, the most recent X-wing and Tie sets, the smaller scaled Slave 1, etc. all have a place, it was getting a little ridiculous that a single X-Wing was approaching the $80-$90 price point, especially if you were a parent, or a kid saving up birthday money

This set is incredibly dope, I honestly don’t mind how this one is far smaller than the one preceding it. The 2009 one is absolutely a behemoth, and I love it as well, but I do prefer the smaller, more accurate look to the 2017 one. Plus the 2017 one was far cheaper, so you could buy multiples of these at pretty damn good price. This set seemed like a absolute steal, especially when this set reached its lowest price, which was $15. I wish I got a few of these back in the day, I never bought one of em, I hope the rumored 2022 set will be even better than this one.
