This song sends shivers down my spine, makes the hairs on my arms stand. Sweet goosebumps. This is a timeless piece. Oum's Zarabi, the whole album, is well put-together. Crafted with passion and emotion. The imagery of the lyrics, the sweet soft and slow tempo make you slow down and just relish every bit of it. It's outstanding. I have never thought that one day a Moroccan artist will make Moroccan vernacular sound this poetic and this classy. I just love how authentic her music feels. Quite surreal I must say. She celebrates our culture in the most sophisticated manners. She earns my respect forever, and she has made it to the league of giants in my heart (that includes Marcel Khalifa and all great composers of all time). Keep up the good work. You are the QUEEN!
