What a love piece. Should be performed more often.

Fabulous work! This deserves to be part of the standard repertoire. It's being performed more and more often so I reckon its day will come! There's still only one commercial recording though, which simply isn't good enough. At least it's with JoAnn Faletta at the helm, so it's a brilliant performance, just as this one is. So please record it!

Wonderful! There's a Mendelssohn family resemblance in its assurance and felicity yet it's clearly not by Felix! So sad that she didn't continue composing.
