German police break up pro-Palestine protests

German police violently detained pro-Palestinian protesters who built encampments near the Berlin chancellery, and their camps were broken up on April 26.

The protests were part of the global “Solidarity with Gaza” protests currently dominating universities around the world.

In Germany, you can legally protest about pretty much anything, including Palestina. All you need to do is fill out some paperwork a few days in advance. Than the police will do the opposite and actually protect your protest and they will shut down traffic for you. If you are unwilling to do that, you’re simply breaking the law and then there are consequences for it.
