'Think Spring' - Come Summer 1969 Ray Bolger David Cryer

Oh heck, since I'm feeling frisky- one last audio clip of the March 1969 soundboard of "Come Summer."

This show was not well received and closed after only 14 previews and 7 regular run performances. Luckily enough, there are at least 3 live audios in existence- one of the full show recorded from the sound system, one of the songs (and most likely the full show, though I cannot find it if so) from the audience during the Broadway run, and another of the songs from Boston. Here, Bolger is not in his best voice, but he is certainly giving all the emotion he can to sell the number. It's too bad that the beautiful Agnes DeMille choreography cannot be seen, but one can only imagine how lovely it was. This was her last show.

Taken from a soundboard audio of the show.

My God! This is amazing. What a wonderful song and so beautifully orchestrated.

This is incredible! I love this song. I've been looking for some good spring songs - and all of a sudden Ray Bolger and David Cryer appear with this nifty little gem! THANK YOU (again)!!!

Absolutely wonderful song, it’s a shame David Cryer was in so many flops he’s such an incredible tenor. Also if it’s not too much to ask, could you upload the song “Good Time Charlie” from this show as well?
