American Airlines co-pilot dies during landing

A medical examiner is working to determine how an American Airlines co-pilot died at the controls. The flight from Dallas to Albuquerque had to make an emergency landing Wednesday afternoon. Kris Van Cleave reports.

No matter how many physical exams you get a year your never sure how the body functions. Very rare occurence but it happens. With automation now on our planes no big deal.

It looks as if AA pilots are trained to die midflight. Maybe this pilot worked for spirit before joining AA?

Pilots flys all the time! so the chance of dying in plane is 75% sure.

For information co-pilot controls the plane after takeoff and before landing and
Captain control the plane in taxi and emergency landing also handles all the radio communication
Although sometimes It depends on the captain who flies plane
