HA! They actually changed their website and Practice is "hidden" on the menu side on the upper right hand corner.

As an ex engineering and post grad student, who was fairly good in studies, i have forgotten most of maths, i find Brilliant to be a good refresher of the common stuff and also helps keep my brain active while getting bogged down with relentless work and busy-ness of life. It is a good break from sitting on couch and watching Netflix after work. I have recently developed a huge interest in Quantum Physics, and to understand it a lot of old forgotten concepts are brought up, hence refresher is good.

Actually the price varies from country to country. Like from Bangladesh I subscribed brilliant only with 35$ (annual subscription). And as a Bangladeshi where stem studies are comparably worse than other developed countries, Brilliant actually worths. Specially for the low price.🙂

I ran across Brilliant, looked them up, and found your review extremely helpful in determining whether I should use the paid tier. I'm glad I didn't. Thanks Ray, you and people like you are what drive beneficial human innovation.

Fantastic video and you're absolutey right, this is way better than their courses. One thing is to adjust your audio to cut down on sibilance (harsh S sounds) by either getting a different mic or moving it further away and slightly to the side.

I don't know u and I often don't comment to YouTube videos, but I wanted just to tell Ur a great guy. Your content is awesome and the way you talk makes me feel like I wanna keep listening.
Have a great life.

it's great for replacing doom scrolling even if ur a stem student. Yeah you'll be familiar with most of the topics already having taken them in undergrad but it's nice to have an app on ur phone where u can refresh on them and do little brain teasers instead of scrolling instagram which we usually end up doing when bored

I hope your channel blows up man. You’re insanely bright and have a gift for clear, concise, yet friendly communication. Best of luck bro.

Honestly idk how much of the courses you’ve done but they def put some very challenging problems in there. They’re always a few easy questions in the beginning to ease you in but midway/towards the end of the course you’ll encounter some pretty tough ones. The practice section is def more challenging in terms of raw difficulty.

Thank you. I purchased Brilliant as a supplement to my high school level homeschool for my 3 children.

Bra, you are talking about Math casually as of talking about music or sport, that is awesome!!

Reading the comments I see many identify with your take and that's great. But I just want to say you're clearly a very highly intelligent individual, much more so than many who I would speculate are in need of very basic foundational concepts offered in the courses to get them going.
On a different note I read the article dealing with the relationship between brainteaser apps and genuine cognitive improvement and it confirms what I suspected that a heck of a lot of hype is involved in these apps.
If I was just starting out (I'm pretty old now) I'd like to write a book on the massive distortive effect capitalism has on scientific research.
Huge grants are given to researchers who's research promises to make investors rich. Little if any is given to those who's research isn't likely to make money. And researchers that might cause a loss of income are sidelined or smeared.
Thanks for your video and all good things.

I'm a space nerd, but I love a lot of the community made courses for other subjects! I just started today (still contemplating on getting the subscription) and I'm currently doing one on solar energy.
Thinking about branching out to more hands-on activities like computer science!
