Pope Francis kisses the feet of South Sudan's warring rivals President Salva Kiir and rebel leader and former vice president Riek Machar during a retreat at the Vatican Wednesday aimed at finding a path to peace.

I see the pope is rewriting the Scripture and rendering worship to earthly leaders. Setting the stage for the great deception yet to come.

This is an act of pure humility. It’s an act to show how important this leaders wish for peace is. He’s willing (as the head of the Catholic Church, one of the largest churches/faiths in the world) to kiss their feet as a plea for peace. That, is true strength. The strength to put others above yourself. That is the way of Jesus Christ, who willingly sacrificed his own life for the lives of all humanity.
