I know what John says about 'some days I have it and somedays I don't;. I am a writer and most days I don't have it. Frequently when I am trying to go to sleep these words start flooding into my head and I have to write them down. Or I may wake up and there is a whole poem/story in my head. I always keep pen and paper nearby. It is strange. I am published so it works.
