I can’t testify that this doesn’t work on trail. It may work in the shop but on trail most rocks are coming from the front not the side like the video says.

All except when shimano flipped the system for a year so you had to pull cable to shift to a higher gear. Never underdtood why they did this but understand why it only lasted a year.

Electrical just moves away more easily and gets back In the same exact position so it’s a lot harder to get a bent hanger, unlike a mechanical one. Tuning is also easier and it will save you some weight and wires, no need for a full video for people to understand that many times innovation is simply better

Its all fun and games until it goes through the rear wheel and the warranty applies to manufacturing defects so you have to buy a new one since all your money went into the cassette, petrol and crisps.
