Renting a Scooter in Pattaya

In this episode we take a walkabout around Pattaya and stop by some various scooter rental establishments to check the stock and prices. After checking about five different shops, we establish an average price for a one day hire/rental which are all listed below. Multiple day rentals will result in lower prices, the longer the rental period, the cheaper the per day rate will be. After investigating the scooter rental scene, we have lunch at a new road side cafe on Soi 15 before taking a look at a Thai Bar ritual designed to bring good luck and fortune to the employees. Small/medium Scooter 125cc - about 200 baht per day
Medium/Large 150cc - about 250-300 baht per day
Large/XLarge 300CC and up - about 700-800 baht per day
Big Bikes - about 1000 per day and UP

Loving that, just renewed my international paper licence, combined with my Thai licence and ready again for Barter soi that is 31/3.. by far the best i.m.o. had a MSLAZ Yamaha 150 there last futher up from Beach Road . For Me Maintenance is the Key, an tired even polished bikes is a no no. Spent a good hour shopping an finally got what i wanted, offa a Tom boy who knew ( his ) stuff trust me . Best 2 weeks ever, loved that bike, there again March CB650r on my list. Oh an lady 3.29 attitude mannn, i think as in a few non appropriate Mastery of the language. Gr8 Vlog as per 👍👍⚒⚒⚒⚒

Hi Great video you said there was a Yamaha Tricity i think it was a 125 cc and i think thay have a 150 or a 155 cc . But have you ever seen the Tricity 300 ?

This might be a dumb question, but how do you know where you can park the bikes when you're riding around town?

When I was in Pattaya I didn't really pay attention to it but since I'm considering renting a bike on my next trip, just wondering how you know where you can and can't park it? Or do you just stick where all the other bikes are when you're on the public streets?

There's a guy just south, between the Hilton hotel and the 7-11. I rented a CB 650R for 1000 a day and 5, 000 deposit rather than hold my passport. I prefer big bikes for the extra power to get out of a possible bad situation 👍

Haven't been to Thailand since 1969-1971 Take a ride down to the Sattihip area used to be an army base there and an air base. Used to go to Newland kilo sip for our drinking. Please video the area if you get a chance to go there.
