I came to throw a spanner in the works because that’s my goal & I have a need to explain. Need and wants don’t exist as a defined set of XYZ items or requirements, but rather the goals you set for your life that determines the need from a want. If you’re goals are so low that bare minimum basic just existence of life on earth, licking rocks eating bugs and drinking from streams and shitting down your leg because you choose the wrong berries you might say food, water, shelter, warmth. But life is far more complex with far more goals than basic survival, therefore your goals determines your needs not some list on the internet. need and want are so interchangeable in context they are basically undefinable from one person to another. fire to stay warm nope that’s a want because you need reverse cycle aircon, because lighting the fire inside the room without a chimney will kill you. But then you need the fire when there no electricity. It’s goals and circumstance that determines the need over a want.

Why do you need to do you homework. You want to to to school or atleast not piss your parents off i feel like homework is want as is i want to go to school.you dont rly need to go to school like you need food.
