If enemy sees a smoke heaven he wont bother checking the corner you were in and get a free shot on, then u can easily reposition inside the smoke. Also heaven is a strong position to play time it they dont come heaven.

It was a situation where you were in a numbers disadvantage so you need to isolated your fights and play more aggressivly than usual so this smoke allow you to take a first kill with the narrow gap that you created and then covers yourself in the smoke or play in with a shorty or peek from this smoke. And the smoke also allow you to bait the ennemies because they will think that you smoke haven so you werent there and maybe play main or tree.

At 13:28 the smoke serves multiple purposes. It isolates 1v1s in case an enemy is pushing CT and the other pushing site, it can also make them think you're playing a different position like site or even tree, and third it gives you space to lurk and reposition just like you did! Also by positioning there you would have clear sight of the spike in case an enemy tried to defuse!

13:25 you were in a numbers disadvantage, 1v2 scenario in postplant so you aggressively took space and placed that smoke to outmaneuver the enemies for isolating them in 1v1 gunfights, while also having the backup option of using shorty in the closed space.

13:25 To use the smoke as a cover and to create a small cubby position to isolate 1v1 fight and reposition in the smoke again and then outplay the enemy from some different angle or using the shrouded step

13:20 the smoke+position had several uses:

1) Creates a Gap to fight enemies coming from spawn
2) Covers your back from site so you can focus on that gap
3) Covers the spike for close fights with shorty
4) Allows you to swing from the opposite side of the smoke to get the second enemy who thought you were on the corner
5) If they wouldnt have cone from spawn you could have circle around and the smoke would have cover the defuser while exposing their legs
6) The smoke in heaven suggested you were playing from site

- allows for an easy isolated 1v1 in heaven
- this particular smoke is very common on lotus for site takes, so enemies may not expect you hiding in that particular position

13:20 this position is really great now that I think about it:

- Since enemies are rotating they will go for the shortest route which is through defenders spawn
- Smoke isolates enemies and is used because Charla7an was in a numbers disadvantage in a 2v1
- A small gap is left to catch enemies coming from heaven off guard
- The smoke is used to make enemies think you were playing somewhere else like drop or on site
- The spike placement is great because it’s visible from drop, heaven and main which puts pressure on the enemy

- commonly used smoke, enemy won't really care for it
- playing around smoke because they will think u are playing drop or even tree
- leaving a gap to isolate enemy off guard, and good positioning even if they pushed smoke from zip line they won't clear that corner
- fast repositioning inside of it to take 1v1 and surprise the enemy
- good smoke for that plant easy to spray through or jump out of it, holding shorty to kill the last who is defusing (or if it really covers all the zip line you could sneak going down silent)
- playing very close to spike and safe position can lead to so many tricky plays even without flash + tp.

i think the smoke in 13:30, first, it helps you a cover and small space to suprise and kill enemies; second, playing smoke like that makes enemies thinking you playing in site so they can go with melee to A drop faster and you can caught them offguard; third, in that position you have info first bc Breach use his E to support and you have angle advantage to take Brim, the smoke help you reposition after the 1v1 or play with shorty. At 13:20 the smoke covers you from anyone seeing you from site and it easier to work around it if you miss a shot and gives you many opportunities to tp in the site. And since due to number disadvantage you have to play aggressively and make other outplays with that smoke. And for your position as most of the time people push from the heaven area to clear it and most of the time other attackers camp at tree so its a little unexpected

When the enemies see that smoke they will think you are simply blocking ct as a pathway, and that you're probably tree or drop. If they come from ct, you have an angle advantage fight, and it's completely isolated.

13:24 by smoking heaven you make tight angles for them to check and also space for yourself to play-in.
Even if u didnt play in the smoke, they have to waste time checking the angles in a retake. And they have no scan util so they have check it by themselves and you could be anywhere in site.
