NEW Damon Lindelof's Star Wars Movie Details REVEALED

Welcome back to Show In Motion. Shortly after it was announced that Damon Lindelof was writing a new Star Wars movie new details about the project have been released. Following the release of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker in December 2019, Lucasfilm has struggled to get a new Star Wars movie off the ground. While Patty Jenkins' Rogue Squadron was set for release in December 2023, the film was taken off the release schedule due to creative differences.

It was recently confirmed that Lost creator Damon Lindelof was working on a new Star Wars film for Lucasfilm. Lindelof and Lucasfilm brought on Ms. Marvel director Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy to help usher the project in. No details were revealed regarding the film, but many assumed Disney and Lucasfilm were aiming to have the movie ready for release in December 2025 as they have already set a date aside for a Star Wars movie.
