I'm originally from Charleston, and this may be the best Charleston video I have ever seen! Living in Atlanta now but going to see my family next week. I forgot just how beautiful the city is, and I plan to spend some time sightseeing again. Thank you!

Absolutely loved this. We live an hour South of Charleston but rarely get up there, unfortunately. The last time we were there, we had an amazing 40 mile walk around the battery (I might exaggerate a bit) and then an amazing lunch at Fleet. Charleston is amazing. Have you done a Savannah tour? I looked and didn't see it.

On the way to Fort Moultrie there was a sea food restaurant. It looked like an old run down two story house. I haven't been back in several years I wonder if it is still there. It had the best sea food!

FYI live oaks trees aren’t just on the east coast. They go from Central Texas to the east coast Carolina’s. We are famous for our in New Orleans

I am a native Charlestonian! I love my city.. thanks for this video. As to the previous comment.. not everyone who does not live in the city proper lives in a trailer.. plus what is wrong with a trailer? Prejudice alive and well!,

Did y'all get to see the oldest liquor store ? Been selling since 1686 back when they were building Charlestown. The roads are uneven like that because downtown was mostly made with landfill:) OG settlement is across the Ashley River and is now a park 'Charlestown Landing' maybe next visit!😊

Love the information., However, Live Oaks are alive in well in Texas, which isn't on the East Coast.

Come in the summer when the humidity makes it *feel like* temps over 103+, hard to breathe, not to mention the mosquitoes eating you up and you’ll get a reality check. Especially downtown. Finding a bathroom or parking space is almost nil there. Even the beaches that you can’t see from the road because the rich own all the oceanfront property are unbearable with little to no parking and hot sand burning your feet as you trudge out there with all your paraphernalia to get to the water. Live here and that is reality. We gave up going downtown a decade ago due to lack of parking, traffic and narrow one way roads.
