Me, an ancient Greek scholar, trying to relax with a board game review after a long day of reading and being confronted with the weirdly persistent myth that Greeks didn't have a word for blue.

Blue (especially Egyptian blue) was one of the most popular pigments in the ancient Greek world, and they could surely refer to the shade. Kuanos (cyanos) is a color word which refers to lapis lazuli, cornflower, and the sea. The misconception that this isn't "blue" comes from the fact that it can also refer to things we probably wouldn't call blue, like some dark hair.

Fwiw ancient Greek language also had 3 genders and many more pronouns than English, so blue hair + pronouns have been around for 3000 years at least 🤓

My suggestion for the restrictive difficulty at the end for this game is to change how the power cards work. Instead of 3 per game, you instead draw one from the deck every turn, and can stack as many power cards on a single guess as possible. This makes it so while the choices of trivia become more restrictive, the creativity of gameplay itself is not limited and instead expands as play continues

out of all the trivia games you've reviewed, i think this one had the most thought put into it.

however - just like all of them - i do think it would be vastly better as an online game simply because you could constantly rotate the stock, fixed incorrect answers, etc.

might check it out though, seems neat.
