Welcome to my first Beauty Eras video in my new series! I talk about the beauty secrets of Cleopatra and Ancient Egypt. Cleopatra was the last Pharaoh of Ancient Egypt. She was a powerful ruler as well as striking in her beauty. I also touch on the fashion and styles she wore, her different hairstyles, how makeup was made in Ancient Egypt and of course her favorite beauty secrets! I include a DIY face mask that is cheap, easy and quick to make! I had fun creating this video for you and learning about the Ancient Egyptians!

INGREDIENTS USED IN DIY and RECIPE:

4 tbs coconut milk
1 tbs maple syrup or honey
1 tbs rose water or rose powder
1 tbs almond or olive oil
Mix well
Place in freezer for 15 to 20 minutes
Apply to face avoiding the eyes

Coconut Milk

Raw Honey (I prefer maple syrup)

Maple Syrup

Rose Water

Rose powder (rose water alternative)

Almond Oil

Olive Oil (good alternative to almond oil)

Fun fact~
Cleopatra was actually Greek if I'm not mistaken ^^ so that would be a good tradition over to Grecian beauty ~ in cosmetology school we learned about Egyptian, Greece, Roman, and the Renaissance ~
I can't remember if it was Rome or Greece but you would have been considered noble/higher class because of your hair color.
It went Red/black/brown/blonde
Because the lighter your hair meant you worked out in the fields for the sun to lighten your hair.
