What I loved about Gary was that he could put EVERYTHING into a solo and not overkill it.

Heavy metal Gary Moore is my favourite Gary Moore.
There's no denying he was a great blues player as well though!

Stevie Ray and Gary Moore both played with the same level of attack and rhythm, that’s why they are both rated as the best

It's not that guitar shredding doesn't sound good... It's that the overwhelming majority of people who can shred on guitar have 100% technical skills and 0% musical skill. Here we have a guitar monster who shreds on par with anyone and sounds musical and wonderful just the same.

EFF ME!! What a monster and virtuoso!! I love Gary Moore s playing, he got me started as a teenager on playing the guitar. I fell of a while when he released the blues records, but I was lucky enough tol see him on Etne Bluesfestival in the 2000-ish. He totally played the painting off the walls and rocked out bad! What an inspiration and great musician. Thank you, Gary Moore. I KNOW that you are still rocking and playing the blues, where you are now! Cheers from Norway💖🍻

I love the way he just attacks his guitar, like he's trying to beat it into submission! He's so intense, his vibrato, his pick attack, even how he sings... even during the quiet parts, he's never far from attack mode. I feel you, Gary! RIP.

You get more emotion from one note than you do from a whole album/gig of todays "artists".
There will never be anyone like Gary ever again and that's sad 😥
