This is a stunning next-to-the-last Oldsmobile convertible, I'd LOVE to own. My two favorite of the full-size GM convertibles of the '70s were the '71-'75 Delta 88 and the Le Sabre. The Impala/Caprice, Grandville were okay, and the Eldo kind of in its own orbit. But I love them all. My only problem here is the lack of white wall tires that really sets the fancy cars off from the plain ones; especially then. It's a feature of glamour, class and a "finished" off look vs. "incomplete". Black wall tires back then had their place on the low-end cars like the plain Biscayne vs. the fancy Impala. Today of course, nothing matters anymore on anything, because everything's all over with.

This kind of car needs the whitewall strip tires. Would set it off allot better.
