I know it may seem frivolous, but the lyrics that really caught me when I heard this song was, "I've hot a perfect body, but sometimes I forget. I've got a perfect body cause my eyelashes catch my sweat." I often feel down on myself for stupid reasons, like not having a Sports Illustrated cover girl type body, but we should just be grateful for having healthy, functioning bodies. We forget how amazing it is just to be alive and well.

I've heard Regina Spektor lot of times on the radio - but I "never fell" for her her music - until...
Back in 2011 (don't know when) I was in my kitchen preparing for dinner and my TV was on. Suddenly I heard someone singing so I went to take a look. It was Regina Spektor's live performance in London (as in this clip) - so I went back to the kitchen. Shut down oven and stove, and put all food back in the refrigerator. I was totally blown away! Especially when she delivered "Folding Chair". Since then it has been my favourite song from her - and from any female singer. The lyrics are beyond outstanding and the music as well.

Regina Spektor is so talented that it's unbelievable!

I ve loved regina for years and am going to see her on the 19th of august so after time apart from her music, listening to it again. this was always a fav. ive been struggling with my image. My eyes are really strange and the wrong size, im slightly overweight with thin friends who make me feel huge. I'm tall and gangly. I've got gross teeth. But this just made me stop and think. what am I worrying about? you know? at least I'm healthy! my eyelashes catch my sweat. thanks regina. I love you.
