Показать описание
Mount Wycheproof, situated in Australia's low-lying Terrick Terrick Range, reaches a height of 148 meters above sea level, making it a relatively significant mountain for its size.

However, due to its gradual incline, it is difficult to determine where the mountain actually starts since it only rises 43 meters above the surrounding plain.

Wycheproof town is located on the southwestern slopes of the mountain and was officially established in 1875, although it dates back to 1846.

The name of the town comes from the Aboriginal term 'witchi-poorp,' which means 'grass on a hill,' in reference to Mount Wycheproof located just east of the highway.
