I purchased my cooper ember mug about 2 months ago for work. It's freaking amazing I love it. I always wanted to have a coffee mug at work for the longest time. I wasn't able to because the previous company was horrible. Since I quit that crazy company The new company allows you to have a traditional coffee mug or a smart coffee mug. Having an ember mug has been absolutely delightful. 😍

I almost bought one of these, I'm glad I saw your video in the side bar. Having only 500 charge cycles is really disappointing considering the cost of this thing. I guess, I'll stick to my low tech silicone lids.

I bought this mug for my nana for christmas and wow, for a newish company the quality of the mug and the contents of the packaging is great, honestly a great idea

I had the travel mug. It cost a lot and didn't hold all that much. I didn't have to worry about battery life since the whole thing died after 5 months.

I loved my mug but the saucer not being water proof is a problem. I’m left to purchasing another after just a few months with it. At least this go around, I’ll have a second mug, as that piece of hardware seems fairly durable — assuming we don’t do something stupid with it like use the dishwasher or put it in the microwave!

The 500 charge cycle might be the only deal breaker for I know two people who have this mug and both claim they can keep a latte' at perfect temperature and consistency for a ridiculously long time. Since I'm an avid latte' consumer, that alone would make it worth the 500 cycle max. Someone out there must know whether or not the battery is replaceable?

Thanks for the heads up. I was about to order the bigger version based off James Hoffman surprisingly liking it but I'm going to give it more thought first because of the points you made starting at 4:31.

Strangely enough I have been allowing some water to get on the bottom of the mug during washing (though it's very little), but it dries very quickly, and I don't have any issues with it when putting it on the charger after. Very nice and informative review though! Got this as a gift from my brother last Christmas.

Like all lithium ion it will only drop a 80% after the 500 cycle or 2 or 3 years if it is not life po4 so it is not that bad you can still use it after the cycles

A bought a little coffee cup "hotplate" on Amazon for about $10. Works like a charm.

Great review. Not so sure I want a coffee mug with more IQ than my good self. This review is 2 years old and looking at the price of these things they haven't got any cheaper in 2 years!

Maybe they could team up with THERMOS for the travel mug to make a Macdaddy.

I have the newer version. This version at least lets you get the whole mug wet which makes it easier to wash. Also, the battery can last for 90 minutes. I just hope the battery lasts me. I’ve only had it for a few days.
