Woke medical school gets exposed 😳 (is this dangerous?)

An insane and illegal "woke" admissions system just got exposed at a supposedly prestigious medical school. Has the DEI madness officially gone so far that it's putting people in danger?

I break it down in this episode of Brad vs Everyone. Plus, the House votes to ban the development of a "digital dollar" and a bizarre anti-white TikTok. As always, I round out the show with your comments!

00:54 UCLA medical school's dangerous DEI discrimination gets exposed
07:57 House votes to BAN CBDCs, aka "digital dollar"
11:03 Woke TikToker explains which ones are the "good white people"

They see diversity and identity as more important than human lives

Medical care of myself and loved ones is an area where I want complete meritocracy.

I am a doctor. DEI in its current form has no place in medical school and wastes precious time that should be spent either with family or with patients.

I wanted to tell you how much I enjoy this show. I have become a daily viewer. I am a granola crunching, Birkenstock and sock wearing liberal and I find your takes on daily political craziness a refreshing change from most internet talking heads. Thank you.

I am on the UCLA health plan and I hate always being asked if I am M F or non binary.

The medical school prioritizes Woke agenda at the sacrifice of medical training.
This happened in the 1990s when diversity hires were accepted to med school, then pass standards had to lower to pass enough diversity students. Not everyone is able to meet minimum standards.
Even Woke patients prefer non-Woke professionals for the care of themselves and their loved ones.

I hate that race has become such a ubiquitous part of every day conversation. I don't want anyone to start treating me differently because of my skin color or to be walking on eggshells. As an immigrant, I moved to the US to have more freedom, not to be "confined" by my skin color. It's honestly so annoying and it usually comes from activist people who think they are not racist, but their bigotry of low expectations is always showing.
My generation (Gen Z) has come to the conclusion that gender is a repressive category but that we still need to constantly define people by race...

I'm white, but I'm an amputee. I'm pre-med and I already have severe imposter syndrome because of my situation. I don't want to just be a diversity hire. I want to work hard.

Brad, I think the idea of a *“safe space”* started off as a place where you’re encouraged to speak your mind. It later morphed to the opposite, a place where you’re safe from ever hearing any surprising or challenging or otherwise interesting ideas.

I have never seen the colour of peoples skin like i do now. The left tells us we have to see colour....

I took an EMT class in Spring 2020 that was disrupted that March. I had to drop and retake in the Fall. We had a "twomn" who was really just a tall skinny effeminate red hair guy with a lot of orange rouge on. Here is something significant:

EMTs have exactly 10min from arrival to introduce (always manners!), introduction gives a mental beat to assess safety, then take vitals, admin O2, determine best guess differential diagnosis to begin best services, all so that you can begin packing up, loading up, and hitting the road pronto!

10 minutes goes by fast.
We were tested on it.
It is hard.

In our LGBTQ chatroom, Twmn suggested since many patients are older, we can use this as an opportunity during intros to ask pronouns. When they're inevitably confused, we can educate them. Yay!

I wasn't even peak trans yet but I vehemently disagreed. The 10min belongs to THEM, not us! In fact as someone who can get a bit mean when I'm deathly scared (had cancer nearly died of high temperature, was treated cavalierly, I got mean) I said I don't care if they got homophobic with me (lesbian) or sexist. I'm there to save their precious life not stress and confuse anyone.

The twmn started a new LGBTQ chatroom and didn't invite me.

Cashless moves us to a virtual even more evil world. Don't support businesses that don't take cash.

This makes me feel bad for those who are from minority groups who actually have the qualifications being grouped in with those who are there to fill a quota.

As a queer nonbinary toaster strudel of color who self identifies as triggered, this offends me.

Concerns me that as a pharmacy technician I have to know the top 200 most common drugs, their brand/generic names, uses, and interactions, but future doctors don't even know emergency medicine😐 (pharmacy tech is an entry-level position with no formal education, only a certificate)

Do they think the person suing because the wrong leg was removed are going to care about DEI?

It’s terrifying… especially when it comes to very sick and very young children.

This is why my application always says "i choose to not self identify" because god forbid the HR department knows I'm a straight white guy.

So meeting diversity quotas is now more important than quality of care. This is TERRIFYING.
