It's interesting how you have to clean after the last tenant, in my country you have to clean until it's IMMACULATE before you move out; the landlord does super thorough inspections to approve it and everything.

Your new place looks super nice and I LOVE the front door, its so beautiful!

Congrats on the move. I do have to say that I find all that water damage very disturbing. And why doesn’t the landlord do necessary repairs and paint the walls before allowing a new tenant to move in? As for a suggestion…I think you should get a bed frame instead of keeping your mattress on the floor. It allows for air flow underneath the mattress and stops mold from forming.

Nice new apartment! That was a lot of cleaning. You are blessed to have a wonderful sister who helped. And she even cooked 😇 I have been praying for a smaller apartment for 5 years now. My house is too big and I have a disability. I don't understand why my prayer hasn't been answered? Those are nice storage containers. 🌞

Best wishes in your new home! So great that you have air conditioning and running water. Good for you for putting your food in plastic containers. I put my ground coffee in a glass container and last week I accidentally dropped it. What a mess, glass shards and coffee grounds everywhere. I learned my lesson. Not sure if you have mice that get in, but if there's a chance of that you might want to put your granola bars in a plastic container, too. Thanks for taking us along on your new adventure.
