My mom passed away 4 years ago, leaving me, her only heir, a legacy of love and memories, unshredded paid bills dating back to the 60's, some furniture I had to sell, and a beautiful, keyless, locked, filing cabinet I kept.

Seeing your video inspired me to try your techniques. If I'm successful, I will send my thanks your way, along with a token ($) of appreciation. Two maintenance men offered to drill the lock. I declined because they both said it would ruin the front of the piece. I figured I'd have to call a locksmith but they charge too much just to come out.

Whether I do or don't manage to get in, thank you for posting this video and giving me hope and an alternative way--hopefully.

So, the three ways are:
- using a rake
- using another rake
- raking the pins

A 4th way to unlock a lock (and the preferred method) is by using super glue and baking soda

Id like to see you do that with a proper pad lock.
Those trainer locks can be opened with any flat, thin piece of steel.
