Graham Greene (1904-1991) was an English writer, prominent critic and a journalist. He wrote two kinds of works- serious Catholic, and international spy novels. He is considered a late Modernist writer.
Notable works of Greene include Stamboul Train (1932),
Brighton Rock (1938),
The Power and the Glory (1940),
The Heart of the Matter (1948),
The End of the Affair (1951),
The Quiet American (1955), and
Our Man in Havana (1958). Although Greene suffered from bipolar disorder and depression, he created a legacy with his works. An avid traveller, Greene connected his writing with a personal touch.
