Frequency Separation Explained Easy

you are editing an 8bit image, that's why you are using Substract, but if you are editing a 16bit image, use Add. and offset is 0. don't forget to check the invert of the RGB channel

if your working in 16 bit the apply image settings do change. The example is for 8 bit images.

I use the clone stamp tool in the high pass layer, the color comes out. Why is it different when the effect is applied differently from the video?
