Well, he's turning 18 in August, OG magcon ended, he is on his own world tour. He is gonna perform in Madison Square Gardens. Little did this beautiful boy know he would sign a record deal with island records. He has come so far from this video. Our little boy in his bedroom with a guitar is gone, but now we have a slightly older boy that is traveling the world. He is living his dream. This was posted on January 14, 2013. 2013. Today, is January 14, 2017. Shawn is still singing, carrying on with his career. He has over 9 milllion people in his fandom. The new, the old, all came together and supported this now 18 year old who started out by singing and doing what he loved. I found Shawn when he was performing at the RDMA's singing Something Big. He wanted to connect with the crowd who didnt know who he was, so he put the lyrics on a screen behind him. No one knew the words. No one was screaming out like they do now. We see people follow Shawn around just to see him in person for probably their only chance to talk to him. We see people meeting their internet best friends, because of Shawn. Hundreds of people only have friends because of Shawn. And no matter what he's singing, we know all the words. Shawn, light up that stage. It's your time to shine. I love you. Thank you for everything you've done.

little did he know, this boy would later be grammy nominee, mtv nominee, etc. he’d win 8 awards with 22 nominations. he’d go on a festival run and 2 world tours. he’d have loads of hits with his music and he’s now 3rd most listened to in the world on spotify. he was just a kid singing to camera, but now, he’s reached so far! i’m so proud of him. he is truly representing that dreams do come true. i love him so much and i’m so so proud. 🥺❤️
