The M1 processor is versatile as we know it, but can it be used to play Minecraft? In this video, I take a look at playing Minecraft on the M1 iMac (2021). We will go over not only vanilla performance, but also Optifine optimisation and shaders performance using Sildurs Vibrant shader pack. One thing's for sure, you can use the M1 iMac to play Minecraft.

I presume you are playing Java edition MC, but is it running natively or through Rosetta 2 or via Parallels? Because I heard it's a hassle to run on the m1 due to needing parallels and similar virtualization programs to work.

Hmmm... mac mini m1 with sildurs vibrand shaders, working totally fine for me (arround 60 to 90 fps)

Bro if that is actually true that it only runs 45 fps on 4 chunks that's sad, it should be in the high hundreds, like the M1 MacBook air at 500 with good settings
