My God... how the hell does anyone hear this peace and think - "you know what, I'll casually cover this on bass in one take.".... absolutely unbelievable

The piano solo part ( 2:02 ) is incredible. Joining solo motifs and diving back into accompaniment changes seamlessly. Great art.

I have been watching Julia for years now and I always say, no way can she get any better then this. Well folks she did it again! Probably one of my top 5!!

Julia playing out of her freaking mind. Jaw-dropping.

I'm a patreon member because in addition to supporting such an amazing young talent, her transcriptions are posted there which are worth way more than I pay. Every time I tackle one it's a serious project and I've given up on certain sections more than once. This is...untouchable. It would take me months if not years - but I can't wait to see the notation.

The seamlessness with which she switches between the „regular“ bass line and following and interpreting the solo during the piano solo is just breathtaking

Awesome as always. I particularly love the slap fill and harmonics at 1:45. 🤯

Bad ass, simply bad ass. The transitions. Duet w piano and then seamlessly slip into a slap finale. Love it! My new favorite!

The way you are able to nail the groove and echo the piano line is nothing short of virtuous. Excellent playing.

Holy smokes is that great. The piano solo accompaniment is really great.

Absolutely crazy how the energy just keeps rising in this cover. You are so precise yet funky. Casually grabbing those piano solo lines and going full slap at the end. Jaw on the floor

Good Lord, Julia. You're hands down one of the best bass players out there. I've been playing for over 15 years, and I've got nothing on you. This track is pure fire!

I don't think I like discovering new music by watching your videos because when I listen to the original versions, their bass lines are never as good as your ones! 😅

This one is specially incredible btw!

what I absolutely LOVE about her (besides the playing) is how humble she is. You never see her in the comment section AT ALL, all she leaves is love and sound.
GO JULIA!!! I'll follow your career closely!

It's her sheer efficiency of movement that always grabs me. There is not a single wasted motion or trace of slop and she makes it look effortless.

This is one of the most incredible things I've ever seen a bassist do.
