I'm not sure about how I feel about these solutions. Paying to not receive emails from a single source seems counter-intuitive as you're only funding their spam, and you're still not stopping other sources. And despite being on the DNC list for years I still receive spam calls (including that EXACT Bahamas call).

DoNotCall is a joke. It takes 10 minutes of filling out forms to report an offender, but the number of origin (caller ID) has been spoofed. Meanwhile the DNCall database is now FULL of correct information about YOU.

For the same reason, I have no faith that the company sending supermarket pulp to my snail mail box is inclined to halt just because I call them up. How often would I have to renew my opt-out? They have to keep sending, in case I move and there's a new tenant at my address.

I wish the National Do Not Call Registry reinforced it better. My number is on it, but I still get spam calls all the time.

You're an amazing person. If people downvoted for any reason other then "One/all of the sites is/are scams and actually cause more spam stuff to appear" you're going to Hell because you've just insulted an angel and made it harder for what is essentially the word of God to get out, it's like how spreading the word of God is the ultimate piousness an average person can attain, and stopping the word of God is the worst piousness a person can attain without sinning. Shame upon ye all who dislike this video.

I just recycle junk mail and annoy spam callers and emailers by not co operating so they get irritated and not call me again

Just to add to this PSA, the do not call list is out of date. At this point the software that is used has not been updated in years, so it will stop a handful of callers but not all.
I recommend supporting any bills that push the definitions of what a courtesy/sales call is. The main opposition is that "there is no way to do it" this is a lie. Making it illegal to call an American on this list will allow for prosecution of people who set up these robot calls, and having proper infrastructure surrounding this will allow for better regulation of who gets to call you.
Privacy is in the American constitution, and communication to you is specifically a part of your privacy. Don't let your rights stay dead.
