I rewatched Ford v Ferrari just this past weekend. Ken Miles is the unsung hero of the LeMans victory for Ford.

He's right though, in most passenger cars air can enter through the front grill but once inside the engine bay it has nowhere to go, its only real option is to build up underneath the hood and start lifting the front end of the car up, which would cause the steering to feel light and disconnected. Thats what he means by "i can feel it in the wheel", a fix for this would be to have vents for air to be able to escape either in the fender or on the hood

Sometimes tragedies makes the story even bigger . The way ford cheated him out of a race and finally now being recognized makes him even more of a legend .
