This is my 1 week keyboard and mouse progression in Fortnite! I have no prior kbm experience with any other FPS games. With Fortnite chapter 3 here I wanted to get good at kbm instead of using a controller.

Bro I promise you it might get annoying and frustrating and you feel like you can’t get any better but you do. As long as you practice. What got me better was playing infinite box fights and raiders piece control map. I started mouse and keyboard in August and I’m in division 10 now in arena. You’ll get there! 🙂

I also tried to get better on keyboard and I found that edit courses arnt that good and to freebuild and edit to get used to normal fights and the speed comes with it🙂

for the new people that also play kbm, my best suggestion is that you set the pickaxe button to x, and the guns 1 2 3 4 5 and the edit button is e and the interaction button is f, it might seem hard at the start but it will be amazing in the end

One thing to remember, everyone learns at different speeds. I’ve been trying to get k&m for 3 weeks now and I’m where he was on 7 days. You just have to keep going and u got it

If you keep doing what you're doing I promise you, you will get better the only thing I have to say is you might want to work on your aim / tracking using apps such as aim lab or even playing other games like csgo if you ever get a bit bored, it will help you a ton. I also started (seriously) like 2 months ago I was playing csgo before that lol and I have improved a lot using the exact same maps you have been using. Also one more thing you might want to lower your sens since I can see you're still a bit shaky. Can't wait to see how much you've improved in the upcoming months.

I’m really glad I was there during the times when nobody built, and when everyone was learning piece control, retakes and even just building. Because it wasn’t as hard for me to learn, because nobody knew how, it was an even matchup…
New players today don’t get that because everyone is insane.. I just feel bad for them
