Alex talks about his creative process and inspiration for his Universal Monsters Portrait Series.

These icons of the monster horror genre were produced by Universal Studios during the 1920's throughout the 1950's. Alex has painted the definitive versions of these stars of "Creature Features." Each edition is numbered and signed by Alex himself.

His art really take us to new places, I really don't know many artists (like 3 or 4) that can make you ACTUALLY feel what you see.

The portraits are a good way of getting a younger generation to discover what the film industry built some of it's pillars on.
