Rango - calm, sad music (end of the road)

This is one of my favorite scenes of any movie. No speeches, no action, no drama, no musical number just a character walking through the desert contemplating his failure and confronting his false perception of himself. It’s so freaking amazing and we’ve all been here in life where we contemplate why we are here and who we are and what are purpose is. This movie at its core is a film about discovering your purpose and no other film could’ve done it better than Rango. Plus just look at it, it’s one the best looking animated movies I’ve ever seen.

When I hear this song it reminds me of when I was lost with myself in my early 20s. More specifically when I first got fired from my first real job. After being fired I walked home with this song in my head thinking about this part in Rango.

Rango is in my top 3 best animations, in the first one there's an Argentinan movie...., but well, I saw this movie ten years ago. In those days I had the habit of imitating the character of a movie I liked a lot. That happened with Rango(sounds stupid, but I acted like a cowboy), because I loved the movie so much. But I wasn't ready for understanding all the concept yet..., now that I'm 17, I still love this masterpiece, but I understand more the principal concept, and it's very beautiful..., you can imitate, but don't know who you are. At the end, we are Rango, sometimes we like to escape from reality, but when you accept it.., you can be who you really are.
