that pass on the inside from the Netherlands' 2nd leg on the last turn was one of the best I've ever seen and it was followed up by an exquisite baton exchange. They were in 4th place and a half a lap later had a 10 meter lead. Wow!

... Great race! ... the Dutch Team was really sign up: what a relays race they Did! ... Magnificent race of the Spanish Team, even running without their best man this year that did run in the individual 400m Final, but not in the relays... Belgium also majestic, even without any of the 3 Borlee brothers...

That was the most entertaining men's 4x400 we've seen in in a while. All of them did very well but Smidt was no doubt the MVP. The Belgian Iguacel was closing the path of the British attacking from the outer lane not realizing that Smidt was behind ready with the NOS button. Squeezed in the little space and gave a good lead for tired legged Klein to have a good lead to retain lead for the anchor to bring it home. Not to mention that Spain got the silver by a hair from the defending champion and a made a NR. Amazing race that was. Smidt also did very well in the mixed relay. The Dutch is building into a team of stars just like the women's quartet.

An impressive Relay Sweep from NED, what was BEL's Jonathan Sacoor thinking in not dipping for the line?! S/O FRA's Teo Andant (44.86) who easily ran the fastest split. GB should be encouraged by its performance given the amount of ppl missing; Matthew Hudson-Smith, Charlie Dobson, Sam Reardon, Rio Mitcham, Jaden Smith & Brodie Young, bodes well for Tokyo WC & the future!
