Shustermans thing with his books is that it seems like it is a utopia but there is always something that makes you think "but is it really"? So It's not actually supposed to be perfect. Nothing is ever perfect.

Scythe still sounds great to me, but sad to hear it was a bit of a let down for you due to high expectations. I think high expectations for books can really be a joy killer xD
Listening to the audiobooks of HP is definitely the best thing to do when feeling anxious. I love that so much!

Brooklyn Nine Nine is so good!!!! I only read two books because I have exams this month, freaking out a bit. But I am currently reading Harry Potter and the order of the phoenix for the first time and I am loving it ❤ keep up with the amazing work

Your videos always give me a lot of ideas of books that I would like to read ! Thank you 😊 This month I've read and loved Uprooted by Naomi Novik. It was such a great book ! Something between a fairytale and an adult fantasy novel with great characters and good writing. I've also read ACOTAR because everyone who read it around me said it was great, but I hated it, I was so disappointed 😂

I thought I read a few books last month, but turns out it were only 2, oh well^^ Thank you for the review of The Wicked and the Divine because just yesterday I thought about reading it but I wasn't quite intrigued, so you helped me with the decision <3

I've also read The Wicked + The Divine volume 1 in May and I liked it very much! The artwork you showed first is actually on the cover of Serbian edition. I'd say that the main story is about 12 gods who come back to Earth every 90 years, they came to bodies of teenagers and the destiny of those teenagers (now gods) is to die in two years, but until then they are pop stars. But, honestly, after all that happened in volume 1, I really can't predict where is the story going to go. I agree that some characters are annoying.

I ordered Sleeping giants in that edition, but paperback. I decided to go for paperback because all hardbacks are in the other edition. I can't wait to read it.

I recently finished The sleeping giants and started The walking gods. It's incredible book series, 5/5, totally agree!

I finished relistening Harry Potter 1- 3 last month but other than that I started like 5 books and haven't finished any of them yet... after April I am a bit in a reading slump...
but I am already really really hype for the NEWTs and I can't wait to put my tbr together for that :)
the half blood prince is my favorite Harry Potter book! I am looking forward to relistening to it! (but first I have to get through the order of the pheonix which is actually my least favorite, but it is still Harry Potter so it is still enjoyable)
Scythe really wowed me, but probably because I went into it without any expectations! I have Thunderhead already here but I am waiting for the NEWT list in hopes it fits in there somehow xD

Ah, Scythe. The book that made me think about stuff the author obvioudly didn't intend.
Like the thing with building the idlands and such.

Nu fave read of May was The Toy Makers by Robert Dinsdale. I actually made a review for it as well.

Audiobooks are great for helping you sleep :) I used to have that problem, and they always solved it

I just started reading Thunderhead! I’ve heard is better than Scythe. By the way I also gave 3 stars to Scythe because I never got really attached to the characters, but loved the plot.

I only read two books 😄 I'm so proud of myself. I don't think I'll be able to read any books in June but I'll try. I also just bought Turtles All The Way Down by John Green and I know I shouldn't have but it was only $12 so I couldn't help myself 😸 hope I get to it this I hope I get to any books this month😣 moving is kicking my butt.

I also think that Nimona was a bit slow in the middle, but I loved it the end. 💕
