I read 11 books in May! I'm so proud of myself you have no idea! I started the Shatter Me trilogy and read a lot of popular contemporaries (Eliza and Her Monsters, Leah on the Offbeat). I also dived back into the Heroes of Olympus Series and the Mortal Instruments. It's been a very busy reading month for me tbh

The Bear And The Nightingale is on my TBR list. Might move it up some now. I went through a reading slump also in May. :(

Everlost was one of the series that made me fall in love with reading. I absolutely loved it when I read it in middle school but I want to go back and read it again because I did forget a lot of what happened! I’m glad you loved it too!!

My favorite thing that I read this month was The Plastic Magician which was the first book in a companion series to The Paper Magician series by Charlie N Holmberg. I am obsessed with the world these books inhabit. I love the magic and the heroines are always such fun to read.

I would suggest reading Birds Without Wings by Louis de Berniéres. It’s an utterly brilliant story and the way he tells/conveys the story to the reader is just AMAZING! MAGNIFICENT even😍. I started reading the book and finished it in A DAY (it’s a 550 page book). I sat down at around dawn (must have been 6:00-6:30 A.M), planning to start my Saturday off by reading about 250-270 pages then going out to run some errands, go take my cat to the vet for his vaccinations, do the grocery shopping, and go to work (extra shift cause ya gurl is saving money to donate to animal shelters), then pick up my brother from HIS work ect. BUT NO! I cancelled everything and I literally spent 9 hours reading this book. I COULD NOT put it down. By the end I was CRYING so hard. It was beautiful. It did in a way change my outlook on life. I have NEVER read a book so good.😍😭In my opinion, it’s a MUST read. So far I’ve read 87 books this year, my goal is 250 and I think I might not be able to reach my goal because I just want to keep re-reading the book.❤️😍
