The amount of visual “noise” our eyes take in that the brain has to filter out (otherwise we’d be unable to navigate the world) means that those single frame “messages” are probably being ignored.

Film moving through a projector is 24 frames per second. - Cheddar, 3000th of a second? How does a 24th of a second go to a 3000th?

I believe the 1983 song Subliminal by the Suicidal Tendencies sums this whole concept up perfectly!

One of the keys to subliminal messaging is repetition, and the experiment would have taken much longer to influence people enough to get them to choose tea. You are able to influence people easier to feel thirsty than to influence them on what beverage they want. Some people are more susceptible to it than others as well. There's a perfectly good scientific explanation for every point that you made against subliminal messaging. Sorry, you haven't presented solid case or evidence to me. I've read plenty of reliable sources that prove it does work, however.

Subliminal advertising can happen at home. For instance, when you cook something that smells good... Can produce cravings. Eating in front of the average person can cause them to want a snack too etc. A smoker seeing someone smoking. (Being aware, abd teaching yourself techniques to overcome things like this is helpful if you notice this behavior in yourself. Biggest thing for me is avoiding snacks before bed when other people are making food)

Did a deeep dive on this in 2017 ish after a Mad Men episode about it. And the spike more of small pictures in pictures that represented strong emotions like sex and death. It was used in WW1 to recruit. It gets very Sigmond Fraud like. Examples are like. The sexy girl in the ice of a martini glass to say drink this liquor get laid. More complex becomes a goat man for mischief. A skull for hard liquor because liquor makers think people who drink spirits have a death wish. So that photo with photos originally were hand drawn poster size and shrunk down and psychologist would help define the message and how to manipulate the mind. At the time certain large add agencies would have huge departments for this. And hiring was hard because a graphic designer would have to have an almost sociopath type moral less compass to do the job. Great video btw just adding info.

As for is it hard to put in a message. One frame? It is super easy. I worked on music and audio side of multi million dollar add campaigns. They spent two or three full days to make a 30 second edit. To make a one from message takes about one minute as you edit your own videos. You drag and drop a title. Type in in. Zoom in and cut it to one frame and put in place.

There is another video about how like 5 designers were hired to make logo for a brand and put on a bus. On the way they had put posters in windows very hard to see of an idea for this brand. At this office they were told to make this logo out in rooms and all of them made variations of the poster that they could have only Registered subconsciously. So can a quick word do something? Probably with the same impact of seating the word. Like. Drink Coke. As a slogan. We use. You love this. Not hidden. But in plane sight. And it make more sense to just out front advertise like. Subscribe Now verse in a message like you showed us. Unless you were evil and wanted people to love an evil entity.

However the reason metal people do reverse masking is two fold. Some want to push their person the devil and some feel sex death money as in advertising is the most impactful emotion. So this is fun. Find pour some suger on me vocal only. The back round vocals say devil. I’m a music composer audio engineer. You can find this in movie poster. A scary movie will have monsters in the clouds. Really have to look. But it’s to subconsciously scare you. Because it is a scary movie.
